Nine students from Viola attended the FBLA State Conference April 28-30, 2024 in Little Rock, Arkansas. These students worked hard in order to attend the state conference. The students competed in various events related to business. While at the conference, the students were able to attend some informative breakout workshops and an opening night rally.
The students and Mr. Thrasher are very grateful that Mrs. Regina Snelgroes was able to drive the bus to Little Rock, and attend the conference with us. Without her hard work behind the scenes helping Mr. Thrasher, this trip might not have been as successful. We also want to give a special thank you the Longhorn Booster Club, and Mrs. Tara Williams, for their financial support to get us to FBLA SLC.
This year, we are very proud to announce that three Viola students qualified to attend the National FBLA Conference June 28 – July 2, 2024 in Orlando, Florida. Kara Moore finished in 1st place in Personal Finance, Joey Harber finished in 2nd place in Computer Applications, and Landyn Denwalt finished in 3rd place in Organizational Leadership.
Please be sure to congratulate these students on their achievements in FBLA this year. The registration fee is $195 per student and $100 per adviser/guest/chaperone to attend the National FBLA Conference in addition to transportation, housing, and meals while attending the conference. Please consider supporting Viola FBLA financially in order to help us get these deserving students to FBLA NLC.
